The Moonshine Trust are an enigma in the Perth music scene.

In a city flooded with great tribute acts, impersonators and cover bands, the Trust are a hard hitting original band playing blues-infused high octane original songs with an occasional stylised cover.

Like a fine sour mash, The Moonshine Trust has distilled it's blend of Rockin Blues with a helluva kick.

The Moonshine Trust are four seasoned musicians from the Perth Hills dedicated to writing and performing their own blend of strong, riff driven songs with roots in rock, blues, and jazz.
The band is a favorite at festivals and pub gigs for their honest, powerful performances that feature PJ Whilliers' killer guitar playing and Hedges' bluesy horn and blues harp.

A 5 track EP of original songs was recorded and released for the 2014 Blues at Bridgetown Festival where they played 4 shows.

In October 2018 they released their second CD of 8 new  originals and 4 remastered songs. 

A new album is in the works for early 2025.
